Because of the apathy and sin that infects our youth in our schools, college campuses, and streets; God is establishing a ministry here in Stephens City, Virginia that will grow because of the Holy Spirit. Generation NOW Student Ministries is geared especially for middle school thru college and will be for one purpose…to seek the one true living God, in order to be the body of Christ. Although young people are the main purpose of these services, this is not just a youth thing; it is a gathering of people, regardless of age, that are pursuing the presence of God and His will in their lives. Those who attend these services (Sunday's @ 6pm) have been impacted so deeply that they no longer desire their life of sin in order to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ. Those individuals that were once dead because of sin are now alive and they begin the process of living a life with purpose. Generation NOW operates to build a generation of students that will realize and understand the reality of Jesus Christ. If we can establish a generation to understand that Jesus is the cornerstone and they are the foundation, then this generation will make an impact in this world for His Kingdom.
We are praying that you will help enable us to reach nations across the world and allow Generation NOW Student Ministries to operate from our local community, but also give us the opportunity to be a global ministry as well. We will reach out to the local community through our weekly services, discipleship programs, and outreaches that are connected with Greenway Spirit &Word Fellowship and many other student ministries.
We want this ministry to be a place where students can come to pray, fellowship with other students, and where those that are bound by sin can be set free! Because of everyone at Generation NOW & Greenway, God is building a generation in Stephens City who will be willing to radically change this world in order to fulfil the purpose of Jesus Christ beyond our local communities and through the nations.
